TRSE Contest is Open

Okay, I have opened the TRSE contest and it will run on till January 1st. The challenge is to draw a creative fanart based on three of my original mangas: Three Guardians, Pacificators and Namaka Hamou.

Here's the rules taken from the Contest section of my TRSE website:

I want to see the characters be active where they are doing something instead of just standing there doing nothing. Be creative and that counts a big deal! Humor (except rude/crude types) is encouraged and please be true to the personalities of my characters.

1. You can draw something like for example: Favorite/memorable scenes, favorite characters, humor/blooper comics (you can even make fun of my characters), or even my characters in various fashion attires. Romantic drawings are fine even some romance relationship have yet to be developed for some characters. I suggest Breanne X Christopher, Daryl X Allen(eh, maybe?) and Bismun X Qamra. Enlil and Cinna had past romantic relationships. There is no love between Belinda and Enrique. You can even include your own human original characters in your drawings.

1. While I prefer that the drawings focus more on my characters, it's okay to include your own original characters in your drawings. But they cannot be romantically engaged with my own characters nor be related to them in any way. For example, please don't come up with boygriends/girlfriends/sisters/brothers for my characters. Those are my characters and only I can decide on them.

2. Any submitted fanarts must be within the range of "G to PG13". Any hentai/ecchi (pornography),profanity (swear words) except for something like "@#@$%", and excessively bloody contents are prohibited. Tasteful Nudity is allowed only for Akosmia and the mermaids of Namaka Hamou. I don't like most of the crude humor (like wedgies or something like that).

3. When it comes to drawing, just do as best as you can and they just need to be neat. You can use any medium such as coloring pencils, digital coloring, 3D modeling, etc. You can even use the Spirities/KawaiiGIFs/Dolls (be creative with them). That would be a great news for those who are not good with drawings, but great with Dolls/Sprites. They can come in either color or "manga" (black,white & gray colors) but colored fanarts are encouraged. Creativity counts more than drawing quality.
- If you're using Dolls/Sprites to make the mini-mangas, credits must be given to the original creatorsof the Sprites meaning that I must know where you got the Sprites from.

4. BE CREATIVE!!! Any "mimicing/copying" of anyone else's artworks are not allowed, and all fanarts are expected to be drawn independently (no tracing, no mimicking, no catcopying, etc..). Being able to draw independently demonstrates your creativity and originality and that's what I am looking for.

5. The limit of entries is 3. If artist/author produces an entry that is better than what she/he already submitted, she/he may exchange any of her/his old entries for new and better entries. Only one of the artist's three entries will be allowed to have a chance at winning a prize (not two or more prizes!). I will accept only those that are drawn after the contest have started as a way of encouraging them to come up with something new.

6. If you do not have a scanner, and yet you do want to submit your drawn entries. Don't worry, you can mail your entries (or a copy of them) to me. Just ask for my address. If you want to have your entries be returned to you after I have scanned your manga, please include the self-addressed envelopewith self paid postage. Just be careful with the size of words you're writing in the entries.

7. When you finished a fanart, you can either email me, give me a link to it (like photobucket) or send me a Note that you have posted it at Deviantart.com. The contest is not limited to Deviantart users (and that's why I have this webite).

8. If you have some ideas but not sure about them, please tell me about them.

SPECIAL BONUS FOR ENTERING THE CONTEST!!
The bonus for entering the contest is that one of your original characters will have a one-shot cameoappearance in any of my mangas. It's even okay to submit an anime version of yourself. I don't know
what the future for my mangas will be but you never know when my mangas could become popular by surprise. That should be good for novice drawers. The winners may earn extended roles for their original characters.You may submit the fashion designs for any of my characters instead of your original characters. They must meet the tastes of my characters. For example, Muneca Powell is very private, therefore, she's a heavy "Victorian-Era-like" dresser while Akosmia likes scant and sexy outfits.

Basic rules for proposing an original character to be included in JA's mangas: If you don't have any of your OCs, that's fine. It's just a bonus.

-Pacificators: The original characters must be entirely human (no humanoid animals, robots, "superhumans", mutates, demons, dwarves, dragons, elves, vampires, whatever) . I may consider those with special powers based on my mangas (sorry no power ranger-like powers), but the people with powers are supposed to be very rare. Even gay and lesbian characters are welcome.

-There will be very limited opportunities for Three Guardians manga since I planned it to last only four volumes(already finished two out of four and working on the 3rd). But I may consider the alien and human characters.
-Namaka Hamou is a special case where the original characters as the mermaids are acceptable only if they follow the porportions of my mermaid model (no fish tails, sorry!). Realistic nudity is optional and
allowed in this case. It may be a while before any mermaids to show up in the story of Namaka Hamou since I do each story per summer. Oh.. the problem would be that Gold and Kalua are the only mermaids who have made direct contacts with the humans... Human original characters are also accepted for this manga.
-There will be very limited opportunities for Three Guardians manga since I planned it to last only four volumes(already finished two out of four and working on the 3rd). But I may consider the alien and human characters.
